TEA´S HALF ACOUSTIC

Tea’s Half Acoustic (THA) was founded in 2010. Originally the band started to play together as an acoustic group and arranged cover songs in a semi-acoustic form according to its name. The name hasn't changed, but the acoustic side is merely a memory. Nowadays THA is a band with 9 members. THA’s style is an interesting mixture of blues, soul, country, pop & rock. THA has performed successfully at the small as well as at the bigger venues during its 10-year history. Different kinds of festivals, bars, pubs, restaurants & private occasions in Finland have become familiar to us. THA`s music is based on rhythm & blues, with a touch of soul & rock, layered with a hint of country & pop. Lead singer Tea´s powerful and brilliant performance is something to remember! Tea has participated in the TV show Voice of Finland`s 2nd season and performed extremely well. Tea made it to the duels performing with outstanding feedback from her coach Michael Monroe. THA released their debut album on 7.5.2021. Album is called “Moving” and contains 7 original songs. All songs are mainly composed by the band leader Tea & her guitar playing husband Petri Salo. The album has been a success in Finnish blues scene and has gained radio plays on the Finnish national radio, as well as local radio stations. Rootstime.be wrote a great review of the album, as well as Blues Finland. THA`s music has been heard throughout the globe: USA, France, Netherlands, UK, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and more! THA is planning a new album next year, so the story has just begun!
